who likes their M51A2 dump truck?

Hey All,
I have been eyeballing a M51A2 dump for the past few weeks. Looks to be a
pretty sound truck. It has a front winch and a cab protector. If I got it,
it would be mostly for fun, but also for hauling gravel and topsoil for
personal use. The biggest problem I found with it is the truck weighs just
shy of 22,000 lbs. The limit for trucks in WV without a CDL is 22,000 lbs.
So that means I could drive the truck, but I couldn't put anything in it. I
hadn't really planned on getting a CDL, but I may look into it. What have
you guys done who own a 5-ton dump? By the way, in WV, anything over 8000
lbs GVW cannot be licensed as an antique so the truck would have to have a
class B license like my deuce. The Class B's are sold by the GVW, the
higher the GVW, the higher the price. I listed my deuce as 15,000 GVW and
it was $65. The 5-ton would be over $150 probably, EVERY year. What about
a deuce dump truck? I have never seen one for sale as of yet. No, I don't
want to put a dump kit on my deuce either. Any info will be helpful.
Thanks,
Chris
