Greetings list. I had a mysterious recurring problem with the e-brake on my
deuce tractor. It would work just fine one time and the next time, nothing.
It kept going back and forth. Adjusting the handle worked sometimes others it
didn't. I finally tracked down the problem. The self locking nut on the
adjustment end of the cable ceased to self lock and you could spin it by hand. It
was working itself back and forth and driving me crazy. Problem is now
quelled.
