I would think tires are the limiting factor in what a deuce can carry. Safety
wise the second thing would be the brakes. Given the proper mechanical
advantage, you can do a lot with a little bit and this is how the deuce works. Now I
wouldn't suggest that every swingin %$@# go out and haul 8 tons in their
deuce, but if done carefully and with safety in mind, it shouldn't be a problem.
