Hi Jim
The M101 series should be fine behind your suburban. Perfect size for
it. Just change the bulbs to 12 volt, wire up you trailer electric
connector and your all set. The M105 is too much for a Suburban.
Forget about those. They need brakes due to weight for safety and the
law (they are heavy) and the brakes will not work with something that
does not have an air brake system.

Subject: [MV] 24V to 12V trailer wiring

Hello all,

I'm interested in running a M101/M105 trailer behind my 12V Suburban.
I'm
wondering what is necessary to make the system work properly. I heard
that
changing the bulbs to 12V eqivalents is all that is necessary. Any
advice
and knowledge on the matter is appreciated.

TIA,

Jim Pace
