My M151A2 starts very hard int he hot weather.

This is because the carb uses a vacume accelerator pump.
When you step on the gas the vacume drops and it gets
a squirt to prevent leaning out too much. The OTHER
time the vacume drops is when you shut it off...... It
gets a squirt of raw gas which tends to flood it for the
next start
