This concerned me when I first noticed the warning in PS magazine. After
cutting one of the hydraulic brake switches open I concluded that the
electrical connector itself was never directly in contact with the brake
fluid. There is a metal membrane, which deflects from the pressure and
completes a circuit, which must rapture before the electrical contact can
blow. I decided to keep my hydraulic switch...
