Rick,

I have shipped four vehicles over the past three years and I've always asked
for a document to be faxed to me with the cost as well as proof that the
carrier had insurance. One carrier kept dragging their feet on the
insurance and finally and abruptly said they didn't want my business. No
problem as I used another one who easily provided me their insurance proof.

Subject: [MV] shipping question

I need to have a vehicle shipped and recieved a quote from a trucking
company.

Should I get a document confirming the rate quoted to avoid any possible
issues later.

I am new to shipping and I am concerned about the carrier holding the
vehicle while asking for more money.

Thanks,
Rick Lathrop
