Try this! Article shows what can be done with an old Ford Fiesta, bits & pieces
(mostly square section piping and sheet metal) and a very good hand with
welding equipment. It is supposed to be a copy of a Soviet T-26 from the 1930s.
It took 2 1/2 years, and cost him about $3500 at the current exchange rate.
Usually runs well, but can't be trusted for long trips. Weighs about 1 ton. As
long as he stays at home on the farm it is OK, but he will never be able to
register it for running on the roads, too many safety features missing. Brakes
are none too good, and suspension has no springs whatever...
