Thanks to everyone that answered my friends question concerning the civilian
ball on his M-1009. He bought the combo pintle/ball and he loves it. He
wanted to make sure that everyone was thanked!
Now on to my problem. On my M-1009 a couple of days ago it started to get a
little louder. Yesterday going in to work was louder and coming home was
like no mufflers were on it at all. I thought right away that it was an
exhaust problem and took it to a muffler shop. They put it on the rack but
could find no leaks from the manifolds to the end of the tail pipes. It
certainly sounds like exhaust noise to me but it seems centralized in the
engine compartment. A friend and I started it and ran our hands all around
the manifolds and couldn't seem to feel anything. Does anyone have an idea
of what this could be? I am stuck on exhaust noise but I guess it could be
anything. Any ideas will be most appreciated!
