Is there power going to the brake light wire? Try putting on 4 way flashers
and see if power is going to the light wire. If not check controller (turn
signal lever) which grounds to the steering column. If that's ok lever may
be bad.

Subject: [MV] m35 turn signals and brake lights

Hi all, the three lever light switch and solid state flasher that I ordered
came and in. I put the three lever switch in first. Turn signals still
didn't work. Put the new flasher in and got turn signals now. I checked to
see if all my other lights are working and found that my brake lights were
not coming on. I think both problems happened at the same time because
everything worked before. Checked the brake switch and it worked. When I
went to put it back on I noticed one of the wires were pushed up in the
rubber boot so I got that strait and now got the drivers side left rear
brake light working. Everything on the right rear light works but the brake
light. I did everything that everybody suggested to my last post, Thanks to
everybody that replied. Cleaned all grounds and took off all the lights and
cleaned mounting areas. Also swapped rear lights and problem is still on
right side. Would the turn signal lever have anything to do with the right
rear brake light not coming on ? That's the only thing I haven't bought and
tried. Thanks again Willie
