Today our hobby lost a friend.

With great sadness I must report:::

  Mr. Gene Johnson has passed away, some of you will remember Gene from past
conventions where his M38a1 won first prize a few times.

Gene was WWII veteran, retired Air Force, he was in the AAF and flew at
Normandy...

He will be missed.
