I was reading a British Yachting journal about MGB-81, a WW2 British Motor Gun Boat that has been refurbished/Restored, motors have been upgraded to 1000hp MAN diesels pushing it along at 40 knots.
Sadily the museum that it is berthed at can not afford it and the restorer now has to sell it. Asking price is 500K pounds sterling about 750K US. Not sure of too many buyers at that price.
Interesting article though.
