You can also mount a pintle hook to your front bumper like I plan to do
some century... :-)

this solution to backing two wheel military trailers works, is a bit
unconventional

drive truck with trailer behind it a get lined up as best you can with
where
you want it, unhook, turn truck around, very short piece of chain
through
eye in trailer and through lifting shackle on front of truck, fold up
landing leg, sacrifices a bit of paint off bumper but you can push
trailer
where you want it.

Why not mount a flag on the side of the trailer so it projects out to
the left? Two flags in line that line up with your mirror (one with a
different color to help gauge angle/distance) would be great for
lining it all up.

Stop to back up, get out, grab flags, stick them on the trailer so
they hang out, walk the backup route to check clearance and go back
to back it into place.

A pair or tubes welded onto the trailer front and rear would be good
easy mounts and the flags would stow on the side of the trailer. I'm
not certain of length, but two broomsticks with a red and orange flag
stapled to them should work just fine.
