RE: [MV] 380 HP with a 5.9 cummins! in a hummer?

It's an interesting Idea, I don't know if the return on investment in
improved performance would be worth it though. Seems a HMMWV owner would be
better off with a 6.5 Turbo Diesel swap or a Banks Setup. If it were more a
direct bolt in engine, Ala' the Hercules in an M37 or M715, then maybe.

Looks to me like the ebay seller is trying to sell used take out Dodge
Motors and trying to get new Cummings prices. It's funny that he says "This
is not a Dodge motor" and yet, it has a Dodge Valve Cover in one photo and a
Chrysler EPA sticker in another. They neither look new or Mil-Spec to me,
The only time I have ever seen an intake sealed with duck tape is on a used
motor.

I am suspicious of this guy, he has no feedback as a seller and he has
feedback rating of 19 with a total of 59 all together, so he has multiple
feedbacks from the same people... Suspicious also. I don't think the winners
of the auction are going to wind up very happy.

I have never heard of a Cummings in the up armored HMMWV, I thought they all
got the GM 6.5 Turbo Diesel?? Seems like more malarkey to me.
