This is off line with the MV stuff a bit but the CUCV people might get a
laugh from it. I had a 1984 Chevy C-10 with the 6.2 in it. Whenever I would
go to
the mall or anyplace with a big Parking lot (Disney) I would pop the hood
and
unplug the injection pump. A friend was with me one day when I did this and

he advised me of this little known theft protection device Chevy installed
on
the truck. He said, "See those 6.2L Diesel badges? Best theft protection
yet!" Although I still laugh at this, I'll be unplugging the pump on the
M1009
since the 6.2L Diesel badges weren't installed on MVs
