>From George Mele,

Just got back from Aberdeen after dropping off my two display vehicles and
judging materials.
Grass field is 95% dry now and no problem. There were about 20 club members
there working in administration and registration. About 25 vendors already
set up and selling. Intermittent light sprinkles of rain but otherwise
decent weather.

Some really nice vehicles there already--including a sharp looking halftrack
with quad 50s.

Judging HQ Bldg not in place yet so I will drive back up tomorrow morning .

People coming in are commenting very favorably on size and accessability of
spaces, wide driving lanes, and sheer size of the field. Still plenty of
space available for latecomers.

Half dozen vehicles out for sale already at reasonable asking prices. Pete
Miller has a couple of Cushman military police trucksters at a bargain
price--he is half way up the hill in grass spaces.

T-shirts are particularly nice this year and feature last years
co-winners--Kettenkrad and Navy Jeep on olive green background.

There is heavy bridge construction activity at both exit ramps from I 95 and
there might be periodic detours. Just follow signs to Ripkin stadium at
blinker light west of highway .

See you there. GM
