The Soviet/Russian MB650 Bike Saga

Sorry! Guys! If you had truly done your homework, you would know that the
"kit bikes" on Ebay, although built by the same factory, cannot even be
compared with each other. The "kit bikes" you are speaking about, are a
conglomeration of parts left over from the factory to satify a bankruptcy
order, and in most cases will need a total disassembly in order to make them
run. These bikes were built during the Soviet Era, for the military, and the
inspection process during their manufacture would rival or surpass any
automobile or motorcycle manufacturer quality of that day or any other day.
These are not rebuilt or remanufactured 1971-1978's! These bikes are brand
new, and have a crate of complete military accessories, never unpacked, to
accompany each bike. They will come with a "Certificate of Authenticity of
Soviet Manufacture" signed by the country's Minister of Defense, the
Attending General, and the World's Leading Expert on Soviet and Russian
motorcycles, Mike Weaver. They will also come with a one year parts warranty
on a 30 year old/new motorcycle. We will also supply a non-functioning
Soviet/Russian Model DP (DEGTYAREV) dummy LMG.

If you think that I am trying to rip off the general public, at least be
able to back up your accusation. If you discovered a barn full of original
WW2 Jeeps, brand new, would they be worth less than a beat-up, and rusted
out 1976 Jeep Wagoneer with 126,000 miles on the odometer? Or if you
discovered a warehouse full of new H-D Panheads, would they be worth less
than a 2004 H-D Sportster? These bikes, the few that I have available,
belong in museums or on display somewhere. But, anyway, thank you for the
opportunity to explain why these bikes are so special! And, No! I am not the
Bozo trying to pass off a Rooskie bike as a WW2 Harley XA on Ebay! If any of
you have need for demil'ed Soviet T-55 tanks or Armoured Personel Carriers,
give me a holler!
