RE: [MV] "No Escort Available" for GL preview - This E-mail is virus free.

But of course the site contacts have no obligation to show up and let you in
either.

I made a reservation through Gov Liquidation to preview some items at an
unmanned site. Took time off. Went to the site. Waited for over an hour
before I left.

When I notified Gov Liquidation, I was told, "thank you, this information
will be added to our database."

The regulations are different at every military installation depending on
the security needs at that particular location. The site contacts will be
able to provide the must up-to-date information on access for previews.

I am looking at a lot that says that also. I did the online chat help thing
on the GL site to ask them about it, and this is the answer I got.

"Amy: Government Liquidation used to be able to escort customers from the
gate of the base to the GL warehouse, but we are no longer able to do this.
Kevin: so does that mean I will not be able to see the item in person??
Amy: You will want to contact the site directly to find out whether or not
you will be able to gain access to the base"

Please forgive me if this has been covered before. I haven't participated
in
a GL auction since they started announcing that no customer escorting is
available for preview. What does this really mean to a random civilian like
me? I'd like to inspect some items that are coming up for auction at Camp
Pendleton. Will I be able to get onto the base to inspect them?

Thanks in advance for any information.
