I just realized that I was wrong about the GM set up. Their tag axle was
a leading tag, as the lift mechanism used the last luggage bay to store
the lifted axle. The drive axle was trailing, and then the motor pack,
behind that. Sorry for the confusion.
Thirty years has a way of dulling the mind ......
