Regardless of one's opinion on the tandem-pushing effect on front tire wear,
the jackshaft disconnect and/or rear lockout hubs would be great for
eliminating rear axle binding on dry roads. And if they also helped to
reduce the turning radius down to 0.9 acres, that would just be a bonus.

I will eventually get either a rear lockout hub or the jackshaft disconnect,
if APB doesn't get too p'd off and stop making them (or never start, in the
case of the jackshaft disconnect) before I get the money together!
