you probably do not want to use nylon line from a hardware store. it
will not be as good as the original and while it will last for a while
it will deteriorate from uv. go to a auto parts store that has truck air
brake line. it is black on the outside (uv protection) nylon on the
inside (fuel safe) and is reinforced (you have up to 75 psi in some of
the lines) use the brass inserts from a plumbing department and white
plastis ferrules on the outside and do not overtighten them. replace all
the lines, it is easy, and you will never have to think of leaks or fire
again.
