In fact their Neg Ground DC-DC converters can be setup (at the
factory) for charging a battery so as to prevent boiling out the
battery (they probably put a regulator in line to draw down the
Current).

A lot of their gear is marine rated so that's always a plus for our
hobby vehicles. ie they can get a bit wet and still work properly.
