I know some people have been asking about what are normal gage reading for
Humvees. Here is what I found in TM-9-2320-280-20-10.

HMMWV Normal Operating Gage Readings

OIL PRESSURE
6.2L Idle - 15 psi / Running - 40~50 psi

6.5L Idle - 10 psi / Running - 40~50 psi

(TM-9-2320-280-20-10) Chapter 1 page 25

Note

Do not operate if oil pressure is below 6 psi.

(TM-9-2320-280-20-10) Chapter 2 page 107

New engine may have higher oil pressure readings until broken in.

WATER TEMPERATURE
Normal operation coolant temperature is 190~220 degrees.

(TM-9-2320-280-20-10) Chapter 1 page 25

Note
If coolant temperature runs higher that 230 degrees, stop engine immediately
or engine damage will occur.

VOLTAGE METER
Voltage meter should be in green zone.

(TM-9-2320-280-20-10) Chapter 2 page 107

Note
Do not operate if in red or yellow zone.

(TM-9-2320-280-20-10) Chapter 2 page 72

AIR RESTRICTION GAGE
Do not operate if air restriction gage reaches red zone.

(TM-9-2320-280-20-10) Chapter 2 page 72

Special Note
Allow engine at least one minute to warm up before checking gages. Gages
may not give accurate reading when engine is cold.
