The data plate in the cab says 15000 pounds offroad and 30000 pounds
onroad. That's the common undestanding I've always heard. However, the
-10 manual only refers to 15000 pounds and does not mention on or off
road. The manual date is 1985. Again, this is towing capacity, not
payload capacity. Where is it written that the towing capacity on-road
is 30,000 pounds? Seems odd that the data plate would differ from the
