Hello again,

after Joe's reply (thank you) I have decided to go that route.
I need 10 new/like new 9.00 - 20 NDCC tires for my dump truck.
Please let me know your price and location. I am central New
Hampshire.

Cheers - Michael

By far and away, the cheapest way to go is to find some used original
9:00 X
20 NDCC tires. New tires would cost around $300 apiece mounted, and you
need 10 or 11 of them, depending on whether you get a spare.

Used originals can be had for anywhere from $30 and up. I was able to
buy a
whole trailer load of them, mounted on rims, for my trucks for $35
apiece.
Many of these are going to need inner tubes, but that is still MUCH
cheaper
than new tires.

I have a 1954 XM211 that still has the original 1954 dated tires on it.
They have plenty of tread but are badly checked and are nearly white in
color. Sooner or later I am going to have to confront the huge job of
changing them all out. Of course, I don't drive this truck on
pavement.

Hello folks,

I have very recently acquired a XM211 (that is what the plate reads)
dump truck and the standard military tire are just about shot (peeling
tread and cracking everywhere). I will be using the track on my small
farm to haul gravel, fire wood, manure, etc over dirt and improved
logging roads. Can someone please recommend the best tires for this
application - either commercial or military.

As a follow-up, a pointer to a source for the above recommendation
(price is an issue) would be great - I am in central New Hampshire.
