Maybe a few discretely-located one-inch circles of black or dark green
velcro, permanently applied to the roof, and mating pieces, with the wire
sandwiched between, will work. I used that scheme on a detective's car that
required the occasional use of a rotating light on the roof. The permanent
dots are practically invisible at 50/50. (50 feet/50 mph)
