I don't run in M series circles so all the MVs I see are pre-50's and
don't have those devices. Other than actual military mehicles... I ONLY
see CCKW, Jeeps, WC's on the road... but again thats the circle I run
in. I have yet to see a MUTT, M-38, M-35 etc on the road. Some CUCVs
but not a lot.

Lots of states allow you to register ANTIQUE vehicles, as well as
CLASSICs that may not have those items. They are fully legal, but are
not intended for daily use. PA says I can drive my registered antiques
1 time a week, or more than 1 time a week if traveling to or from a
show/event. YMMV.
