Gentlemen PLEASE ,
Spare injectors can be checked at
home by hooking them to a disconnected
line and running engine.

ONLY DO THIS IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING !
and also know how to interpret what you see !

The pressures involved can blast diesel fuel straight through skin , causing
severe injury and potentially the loss of limb . The finely atomised fuel
will penetrate pores and also cause dermatitis. Hit in the eye and you`ll
need a white stick !

IF you want to test injectors at home , them find an injector pump off a
single cylinder stationary engine , LISTER or PETTER in the UK .
mount on a frame with a lever on the bottom to operate it , feed with fuel
and braze up an adaptor to connect to your injector . this is not state of
the art but will give a fair indication of injection pattern . If you want
to add a refinement then a 0-3000 psi gauge tapped in will also tell you the
cracking pressure and allow setting up !

come back to me if you want more details !

                          be careful Noel
