I just spoke with a gentleman from the Mississippi
Forestry Dept while trying to beg a free vehicle for
my Vol Fire Dept. I asked him about HMMWVs...he said
they are getting hard to get because the Gov't is
starting to auction them to civilians. He ran into a
guy somewhere who had one and told him that he got it
at an auction in/near Atlanta, where they sold about
500 of them.
Has anyone heard of this or have any info on future
auctions?
