at 10 CDT this morning (Sunday) there was short story of history of jeep,
most, well at least some of the facts given were correct.

they said

MA - stood for military model "A" Willys

GP - G for goverment, P for 80" wheel base - Ford

Also said "F" stamped parts were so ford would not have to warranty parts
made by Willys

And they did show a short clip of Jeeps being crated
