tech tip: nonstandard batteries in an M35

When using ye olde large size car batteries in the M35, you will
find that there's a good 1" or so between the ends of the
batteries and the sides of the box. The placement of the top-post
terminals on the batteries can lead to the possibility of a
terminal clamp touching the box causing a spectacular short if
the truck movement causes the batteries to slide around.

To reduce the chance of this, I cut two pieces of 1" PVC pipe,
which are nearly the length of the box, and dropped one down into
the box on each side. That way, the batteries can't slide
sideways and risk the terminal clamp coming in contact with the
inside of the box. The batteries can't slide front to back
because the inter-battery cable spaces them apart.
