To all who participated in the trail ride this past weekend, many thanks for coming out!

We had a total of 17 vehicles:
Many Stock Jeeps
Many Custom Jeeps
(1) Jeep Cherokee, modified
(4) M-37's
(1) M-880
(1) Ford F350 Crew Cab
(1) 1940's Dodge Power Wagon
(1) Unimog 406
(1) Unimog 416
(1) Unimog U1500

The ride was slow going due to the large amount of rainfall on the previous day and all throughout the winter. Therefore, puddles were extremely large and very deep in places.

We had no difficulty in getting through the puddles since most had a way around. Only the bigger Unimogs dared enter the deeper puddles that were almost like mini lakes!

The trail ride ended with a view of the Pine Barrens from the Apple Pie Hill fire tower.

Longest distances traveled was by Rich Ely from Long Island, NY. Another feat was Scott Daniels 2hour 45minute ride in his 406.

All in all, this trip had the biggest turnout over previous rides. But nothing can match the ride during the storm of the century when the Pine Barrens was hit with a whopping two feet of snow!

Special thanks go to Tom and Albert for helping lead the way.
Since living in Nevada, my memory of the trails seemed to escape me at times.

Looking forward to many more trips...
