STE-MI/FVS Test unit Questions??

Hello Esteemed List. I have an STE unit that is somewhat different than the
regular test units. It's called an STE-MI/FVS. Although it is the same size
as the normal STE-ICE-r unit, it weighs about 50% more than the normal unit.
This unit also has a large rubber skid plate base and not the normal four
small rubber foot discs on the bottom. The 4 connector ports have screw on
metal dust caps unlike the other STE units. A sticker on the right side of
the unit states that it is equipped with "C14 programming". One site turned
up by a Google search mentioned that this is a unit for a Bradley vehicle.
The unit passes the Confidence test in the STE-ICE-R Manual.

Any idea what this unit was designed for?

Part No. 12364052
GE Corp.
Serial No. 2007
NSN 4910-01-271-7842 (but googling shows the first 4 numbers as 6625
instead)
Contract No. DAAE07-90-C-0205

Thank you!
