Description
PAINTING THE REGIMENTAL MUSEUM'S EXTERNAL HISTORICAL
EQUIPMENT(VEHICLES, TRUCKS, AND HELICOPTERS).
CONTRACTOR WILL FURNISH ALL LABOR, MATERIALS TO MOVE,
LIFT, LOAD, TRANSPORT, UNLOAD AND PAINT VEHICLE. The
Directorate of Contracting at Fort Polk, LA intends to
award a sole source, firm-fixed priced (FFP)contract.
The services sought include providing all services,
materials, labor, to perform all necessary painting on
the Museum's external historical equipment(trucks and
helicopters) and shippment of vehicles. Further the
property will be considered to be in the contractor's
custody from the time it arrives at the paint site and
until shipped from the paint site to Fort Lewis, WA.
The contract shall be negotiated in accordance with 10
U.S.C. 2304 (c) ( 1) as implement ed in FAR subpart
6.302-1, entitled,Only one responsible source and no
other supplies or services will satisfy agency
requirements. This project is unrestricted. The NAICS
code for this procurement is 81121. FAR Part 12
procedures will be u sed for this procurement.
Solicitation will be posted to the Fort Polk website
at http://www.jrtc-polk.army.mil/doc and will be
issued on or about 18 January 2005. Contractors
must be registered in a central database, the Central
Contrator Registration (C CR) to do business with the
Government. For information regarding CCR call
