Hi All,
The same sort of thing happened to the Leyland Martian wreckers
that were sold at the last auction at Ruddington in 1983 !
ALL the wreckers had there Rolls Royce B81,s taken out , yet all the cargo
trucks on the same chassis were complete ! WHY ?
The plan had been to buy a wrecker at about £4000 and a truck at £400 park
the two side by side , swing the engine out of one , into the other . then
use the wrecker to pick up the truck and go home !
Somehow commonsence prevailed and I made do with 4 landrovers !
Still use one off them !
