Hi Bruce,

I had a similar problem. The level sensor in the side of the radiator was
kind of scummed up.
I removed it, cleaned it off in soapy water, replaced it and the problem
stopped.

Subject: [MV] CUCV "low coolant"

Hi All,
I have been having a little problem with the "low coolant" light.

First off, there is plenty of coolant.

When the engine is started up, the light turns on, and then off as it
should.

Then about a minute later it turns on again and stays on until Iv'e
driven about one to 4 blocks, and then it turns off.

Sometimes it may turn off for a second and then back on in the middle
of the previous sequence.

Most of the times this does not happen if the engine has only been off
for
a couple of hours, so I am suspecting that the engine thermostat plays
a part in this.

Any ideas out there?
Thanks,
Bruce MVPA 23824
