Morning Boys,
In the UK any thing that damages the highway is out
, rubber tracks or pads would be ok , se proviso above , BUT first you must
have a license to drive this type of machine ! I have a very small
agricultural crawler , only 5 feet long but STRICTLY speaking I can`t drive
it on the highway . I met some guys that had an Abbot self-propelled gun ,
They hired a Mimi digger one Saturday and all 4 of them sat the test !!!!
1.5 Ton digger Top speed 3mph ---- get off digger walk across road and into
Abbot , best part of 20 tons and 40 plus mph ,C`est la Vie !
Another crazy anomaly is the convertible steam road vehicle --- NO you don`t
take the roof off , you change the front roller for wheels and it becomes a
traction engine ! ----- If the rolls are in you need a roller license if
not your car license is fine !

It`s a crazy world we live in Noel
