Got a genset this morning at a yard sale. It's a G-40/U, dated 9/14/54.
It is rated 22A/120v/60Hz at 1,800 rpm.
The alternator turns freely, but the motor is "broken", it's taken apart and
the piston rod is snapped. The unit is mounted on a skid type frame.
The weight is about 200 lb.
Question: Is it worth bringing to Aberdeen in May? I only paid $25 for it.
