They're stuck in Committee. The DMVS is obstructing both bills on
the basis that they violate federal funding guidelines. However, this
seems incorrect to me given that I based the law changes in my draft
on other states which still have their federal funding. I have a
meeting on Tuesday with my Senator and the DMVS legislative director,
hopefully we can solve the DMVS's issues in the meeting.
Please Call Senator Brian Kemp and Senator Jeff Mullis and get them
to shake the bill loose such that it satisfies our hobby interest and
the DMVS.
