That's a nice idea.
I went to the scrap yard today and they were paying $95/ton for sheet
steel scrap. That is the highest I've seen it. The line to get into
the yard was rather long. People were hauling in anything they could
find. One guy had old steel kitchen chairs and tables in his pickup
truck.
You know that a lot of these older historic items are going to hit the
scrap piles unless they are saved.
Sad but true.
