Ya might want to try thinning with mineral spirits instead of zylene and
adding a hardner for durability.The " overspray" you are is seeing is really
known as "tigerstriping" in the paint industry. Caused by the paint drying
before it hits the surace to be painting. Depending on the temp you are
painting at, you might want to cut back to 5 to 10% thinner to prevent the
flashing.I only use Gillespie though, as I have (had) a nice big pink M211
outside that was painted with Aervoe before I bought it. Brian
