I have some of the M16 variety at work which look as though they were made
exactly the same way as the Ebay M14, and though it looks like a decent
option, I can tell you based on the M16 types that these things are made to
be viewed "20/20"; as in, 20 miles an hour and 20 feet away. For parades
and stuff to fill your M14 holder up - fine - but in terms of a static
display at an airshow or something...dunno. Again, that's based on the
resin M16 copies at work and some telltale stuff on those Ebay pics, so
your-mileage-may-vary.

(Our M16 copies were obviously mold-made, and all the Colt stampings are
perfectly visible. The interesting one is the "Republic of the Philippines"
in with the rest of the Colt stampings, which probably means some Pilipino
squaddie found a way to make some extra loot by letting someone cast his
weapon.)
