windshield washer motor kit on M35

I was at a open house at the local National Guard. One
of thier M35's had a new windshield wiper motor
mounted vertical in the center of the frame with arms
extending to both sides for the wiper arms.

Is this a new kit? Also most of the M35's had the new
button style light switch replacing the three lever
style.
