Hi DJ,
The oil storage problem sovled itself. The deli where I get my used cooking
oil also gives me the containers, which the fresh oil comes in. It totals
about 25 gallons/week.

Guess I havn't been very loyal to this list, the majority of posts on this
subject can be found here:

If the link doesn't work, it's the "Alternate fuels, Biodiesel" thread.

The methanol comes from a Go-Cart race track and costs $2.50/gallon. The Red
Devil drain cleaner is still my cheapest source for Sodium Hydroxide.

I make 60 liters of biodiesel at a time in clear storage tubs (Wal Mart).
Since the oil I use is fairly clean, it can be processed at room
temperature.

Driving the deuce on up to 75% BD, so far, is different only in that the
Exhaust Gas Temp is lower and the exhaust smells like a Waffle House
(recovry4x4 Kenny's impression).
I have driven the deuce over 1,000 miles with a percentage of BD ranging
from 10 to 75. Part of the mix has been raw cooking oil (up to 20%),
kerosene and petro diesel.

My cost per gallon is now about $0.65.

If you have any specific questions, let me know.
