Without assigning who's right or wrong....
Point #1. Why would anyone wish to seek and or remain in a position of
leadership if they are in direct conflict with the entire board of
directors? A publicly aired fight with the BoD of the MVPA is done at
the expense of the organization and it's members.
Point #2. A decision by the BoD to take a stand against a particular
Chairman or Chair candidate must be fully justifiable to the membership
knowing such a stand will create great controversy, therefore it should
only be done under the most extreme circumstances.
