Well, fellas,
Everyone thinks that (despite the fact I started with a brand new coil and condensor) they may be defective in some way. Some adventurous souls even went so far as to say they have simply closed off their sealed distributors and had no troubles whatsoever. For this reason, I will replace both coil and condensor and retain my current plumbing arrangement and see if it fails again.
Like my faulty coil, perhaps some of our friends who continue to pursue their obviously off-topic posts need to be removed as well. What a pity.
