Guys, I've located a fairly big pile of junk m38's, m38a1's and the ambulance version of the m38a1 (m170?) in various stages of disassembly. The Army obviously kept these around for parts until they were sold & ended up at this salvage yard. For the most part, these are suitable only for scavenging a few more odd parts from each before they're completely over & done with. Two ambulance tubs are there, one in pretty fair condition, one a bit worse off but frankly, I've seen much worse tubs. There is one m38a1 tub (which I will acquire as it's much better than mine). One m38 still has it's driveline but has been exposed to the elements for a long time.
If you are an early M-series jeep/jeep ambulance owner and are in need of some minor odds & ends please let me know & I'll see what I can do for you.
