I recently purchased a M66 ring mount. A triangle shaped canvas piece
came with it. Included with the canvas was a spring piece to slide in
the edge seam of the canvas and a bracket to mount it to the ring
assembly. Where does one mount this bracket/canvas assembly? The
drawings don't show it. By the way, the canvas does not have that
pleasant canvas odor. It actually smells bad. Don't inquire however, I
will be keeping the ring mount in spite of the less than wonderful
canvas smell.
