Cliff, you're exactly right. I think the trucks with the comm kits (M882,
M884 maybe) have a completely isolated 28V system with it's own alt and 2
batteries. It is it's own system not in conjunction to the 12V electrics of the
truck. The 28V systems was also ordered in kit form.
