This applies to vehicles to pay sales tax in the state you are in not the
state where you are going to title it in I belive I should know I was in the
Auto business 40 years and further if you buy in a different state and have
it shipped to you and if the place you have gotten the item from has a store
in your state you should be charged sales tax in the state you live in.This
started a few years ago.If they dont have a business place in your state no
sales tax is to be collected.I know this for a fact as I just baught
something was shipped to me and no sales tax was collected because they only
have one place of business and its not in my state.
